I've played the game and ngl enjoyed it a lot, but there are a few major bugs I think it's crucial you'll fix:
1. you can jump on the death coliders. What I mean is - that whenever I fall can hold jump and I will bounce at the bottom of the screen. since I know you're using unity, I'll suggest switching the mode of the coliders to trigger, so it has no physics.
2.you can hold jump in the space area so falling blocks won't fall
3.in some areas at the bottom of the screen there are no death coliders/they aren't working - so you're softlocked and you
Bad game design choices:
1.You can't reset a level: on some levels it can happen so you're softlocked and you have to start the whole chapter all over again
2.The walking path of the enemies in the first chapter is random - it can happen so I have to wait for the enemies to move away from the path of the level. Also, they sometimes just colide with eachother and stay there for a long time which either makes the level: not challenging at all, or, annoying because you have to wait so long for the enemies to start behaving normal again. I'll suggest making their moving patterns scripted and constant, so they will stop getting stuck and not annoy the player.
(I'm talking about the enemy of chapter one)
3.This is a minor one, but there are ceilings in the first chapter, which makes it annoying to jump if you're high up the screen.
now, the positive things:
the atmosphere of the game is special. The first part I didn't like as much, but the second chapter is magnificent (I liked the boss too)
The music is incredible, and so is the first few levels of chapter too.
I'm looking forward to your games, good luck on your game dev journey.
